Tianjin is one of China’s four national central cities. It is a beautiful coastal metropolis, located in this urban paradise is a two-tower, mixed-used high-rise with more than 50 floors. This magnificent structure needed innovative façade lighting design to make it stand out from all the surrounding buildings. The façade’s surface area is about 356000sqm. TELCS’ mission was to formulate a sustainable lighting design that would make the towers widely noticeable throughout Tianjin.

TELCS provided the client a variety of concepts, ranging for searchlights tracing the surrounding streets, different snowfall concepts, to a playful and colorful virtual equalizer lighting design with several vertical color changing lights made of LED panels.
